Geary Weir – Executive Director

Mr. Weir graduated from Penn State University in 1975 with a BS Degree in Business Administration. He worked for 23 years with Dun & Bradstreet Corporation serving as a credit reporter, business analyst and information consultant. Effective March 1999 Geary assumed the position of Executive Director for the Webster County Economic Development Authority.  He has served on the boards of the WV Economic Development Council, Region 1 WorkForce Investment Board, WV Community Development HUB and The Snowshoe Foundation, as well as several other local and regional organizations. Mr. Weir holds certifications as a Professional Community & Economic Developer and an Economic Development Finance Professional. Geary and his wife Susan, reside in Webster Springs, WV. They have four children and five grandchildren.

Derinda Cogar – Bookkeeper

Ms. Cogar is a graduate of Webster County High School and attended Glenville State College.  She has worked in various positions with the Webster County Memorial Hospital, J K Broadcasting and Valley Insurance Service.  She is active as a volunteer with the Webster County Community Fund.  Derinda resides in Webster Springs, WV and has two children.
